We are still alive....

I have tried to post a number of times, but when I go to download my post, my screen goes blank. So I will try it again. We have been pretty busy lately. Dan went deer hunting and got an 8 point buck and his dad got a 9 point buck. I even went up north for the hunting season! Molly got her hair but last week, super short but super cute! Sadie is amazing us everyday with her talking. This morning she said, " Mommy, I am trying to drink my cup sideways." I couldn't help but laugh...to know that she understands sideways is beyond us. Abbie is almost eight months old:( and I am having such a hard time with it! She is sitting all by herself, with an occasional fall forward, and she started "dancing." She also babbles dadadadada. I have been doing okay too! I have been getting out a bit more now and am trying to take better care of myself. With Thanksgiving approaching, I would just like to say how thankful I am. I am so thankful to God for my wonderful husband, my three great girls, and my family. I am thankful to my Mom for always being there for me, to Angela and Dawn for always being willing to listen to me, to Brian for always being so honest with me, to Matt and Maria for helping our country and putting their lives on hold to do what they do, to Joe for being you (even though I haven't seen you or talked to you in who knows how long), and to all my great neices and nephews for being so special to Dan and I. I am so thankful and pray that God will continue to bless each and everyone of you!

Dear Susan and Dan,
I am so thankful for all of you and the joy you bring to my life. I often wonder if there is something wrong with me, because I can't believe how much I love all of you, all my kids, their spouses, and all the grand kids. I am even grateful to your Dad, because without him there would have never been a you....or all of us. I am truly blessed...I also am thankful for the people that have come into my life because of who my kids have married....I am thankful for Angela's mom Luci, Dan's parents Pam and Gregg, (do they know that I am Oma Wilke?) and the rest of their clan, also for Hugh and Maria's family, even though they aren't directly available in my life because of distance. Their families did give us two terrific people, and we are blessed by them too. Love Oma
