So here is the picture that went out on the Christmas card. This was not a fun time at all to take their picture. Do you know how hard it is to get them all to look at the same time and then to have them all smile or look semi normal at the same time? Well it is impossible and this is the best we could get. They are still oh so sweet and so cute in their matching Christmas Pajamas.  Posted by Picasa

Caught in the act. Dan caught the girls squised in this little cloth bucket doing who knows what.  Posted by Picasa

Baking Christmas Cookies....Yuck

Okay, So I didn't inherit the "Axtman" baking Gene. I Hate baking cookies. We got together today (me, Angela, Mom, and Dawn) and baked Christmas cookies. I tried my hardest to "bake" the easy cookies. I made haystacks which require no baking, just melting chocolate chips. I also made pretzel ring things with chocolate in the middle. Again no baking. And then I decided to decorated Sugar cookies with marshmellow snowman. So I bought the premade sugar cookie mix and baked the cookies quite well I must say. However, when it came to decorating them...things went bad. Let me just say that these cookies were a pain in the you know what. It took pretty much the whole afternoon to work on these dumb cookies. Yes I called them dumb. Well, the trays of cookies are all filled now and the mess is cleaned up (at least Angela was working on that when I left). I don't think I will do the baking thing again next year. Don't get me wrong, I had good company in baking and was glad to be there, I just well, I just hate baking cookies. I will stick to the no bake cookies from now on! Thanks to Angela for letting us have the mess be at her house, and thanks to mom and Dawn for doing most of the baking work. And of course thanks to my nephews who loved the snowman cookies!

One night down...6570 more to go!!!!!!!

So we did it, we moved Abbie up with Molly in her room. Dan and I gave Molly the good big sister speech. Don't wake Abbie up if she is still sleeping, don't slam your door....and so on. Molly went to bed first last night and Abbie joined her a few hours later (she was up late). Around 2am or so, we hear Molly comforting Abbie and singing her a song. Well, Abbie had woke up and of course woke Molly up too, so Molly was taking good care of her. I got Molly back to sleep while Dan rocked Abbie. They both slept peacefully the rest of the night. However, Abbie usually sleeps until 8:30am or so but this morning she was mysteriously up at 7:00am hmmmm, that happened to be the same time Molly got up this morning too. She promised us that Abbie was up first. So that is one night down and many many more to come.

This has truly be a sign that Abbie has grown up. We are putting the changing table in storage and I packed away that baby toys this morning. By this time with Sadie, I was already a few months pregnant with Abbie. Dan and I both truly love being parents. Sometimes the days are hard and long and there is always laundry to be done and a mess to clean up, but I wouldn't want it any other way. Could it be time for another baby? I guess we will wait to see what God has planned for us! Till then, we will continue to enjoy our three blessings from Him.

I haven't figured out the red eye reduction thing on the computer yet, but I still love this picture of them all in their "nudies".  Posted by Picasa

Abbie was so excited to get ahold of a ball! It was way to big for her, but she had so much fun just holding on to it! Just look at her adorable smile with those dimples.  Posted by Picasa

Sadie helped Mommy rake the leaves! She was actually pretty good at it! Posted by Picasa

This was a month or so ago, but I love this picture. We raked a big pile of leaves in the back yard and let the kids play in it. They had a blast and of course Dan was right there in the pile with them.  Posted by Picasa

Here is a picture of Molly and her Ballet teacher, Miss Jessica. Molly is doing well at ballet, but reminds us weekly that she would much rather be in Gym class. We will see what she decides for the next semester.  Posted by Picasa
