Here she is, Beautiful herself.  Posted by Picasa

Our Saturday Morning tradition. I know I am not in the picture, but someone has to take the picture, and from what I can tell, Dan looks to be still asleep.  Posted by Picasa

I am Not Very Helpful...

Once again, I have had a new revelation. I have come to terms with myself. I am really not a helpful type of person. Why you ask? Well, I shall explain. Dan and I or should I just say Dan, is in the process of building a playroom for the girls in our basement. ( I should add that Dan's Dad has also been a big part of the building process too-thanks Greg!) Anyways, Dan has been working hard at the room and this past week has been doing his favorite trade of the many he can do. DRYWALL. Now both him and Greg hate dry walling and I do remember when they were drywalling our house, they both said they would never do it again. Well, I decided that I should really help out with the process. So on Saturday Morning, I headed downstairs to "help out!" Dan was busy trying to cut and hang his own piece so I decided to measure and cut my own piece too. I thought I did okay, and then Dan informed me that I measured the piece wrong and wasn't strong enough to cut the dry wall. Well, it took me at least one hour to measure, cut and hang 2 small pieces of dry wall, but...I did help out! Or at least I thought I did, and then Dan told me to go upstairs and just take care of the girls. I guess that is my specialty.

Then there was last night. At about 9:45 pm Dan decided that we needed to clean the basement out and organize it. Ok, I said to him, I will help you. Well, Abbie was still awake and wanting to eat so I sat down on chair downstairs and watched as Dan brought buckets of stuff into the room and organized. I told him what to toss and what to keep and what to bring upstairs for me to go through. So, Abbie finally fell asleep. I took her upstairs to her bassinet and headed back down to the hair filled basement. Again, those of you who really know me best, know that I hate any kind of animals hair, dirt, cat pee, hairballs,etc... all of which we have in our basement. I really did try to be supportive of Dan as I held the vacuum up while Dan sucked up all the cat hair. (our vac. is broken and it falls over if you don't hold the base part) I thought I was going to die. There was so much cat hair and even pee down in this area we were cleaning out. I pulled my shirt over my head so no spiders would land on my head and covered most of my face the the front part of my shirt to keep any odd smell out of my very sensitive nose. Well, needless to say....I pretty much gave up. I asked Dan if I could go upstairs. I think in one way he wanted me to stay down there and help, but then he came to the realization that I really wasn't helping at all and he would probably get more done faster without me down there. So I went upstairs and went to bed! By then it was a little after 11:00 and I was tired(from all my hard work!). Dan came up sometime after midnight. I must say, he did a very good job of cleaning up. I went down there this morning to put in some laundry and it looks very nice and clean! Good Job, Dan!( I will try to be a bigger help next time)

So I am going to turn over a new leaf! (again, for those of you who know me well, I turn over a new leaf just about every day, but by the end of the day, the leaf has blown away!) I will be a bigger helper to all! If you need something, let me know and I will help you out! I will give it my all! Please know, I just might not last very long! Have a good day!

And what Molly does Sadie must also do. Sadie may too need Riding lessons in the near future. YEEEHAHHHHH! Posted by Picasa

After a whole year of waitng, Grandpa took Molly for her 2nd annual pony ride at State Fair. This may be our next adventure...Horse riding lessons. Maybe Molly will get some for her birthday! Hint Hint all of you who may read this! Posted by Picasa

Is this not an adorable photo or what? I think I could win a cutest baby contest with this one. It is so tough having cute kids! Posted by Picasa

Sadie actually fit her body in here and sat and watched TV in the little yellow bucket. Posted by Picasa

Of all the toys we have....a little yellow bucket was the toy of choice this day. Posted by Picasa

Look at those chunky cheeks and those dimples. What a great personality our sweet Abbie has.  Posted by Picasa

So sometimes during the day, Sadie is missing. I could Not find her the other day and was looking all over for her. Well she was hiding behind all of our pillows on our bed and not making a sound. What a little stinker! This is now her new spot to hang out.  Posted by Picasa

Another attempt for Dan to get a good picture with his girls. We will keep trying! Posted by Picasa

Sadie's boots are a little too big. She did keep them on inside the rest of the day, though! Posted by Picasa

There was just enough and not too much rain for us the other day to go outside and play for a little bit. The girls wear their rainboots daily inside, so they were so happy to actually use them in the rain. Molly wanted to jump in puddles, but the only puddle was in the middle of our bumpy road. They had a good time in the rain. Posted by Picasa

One of my most favorite pictures of Abbie. I have it set as our wallpaper on the computer and every time I see it, I smile. She really is such a blessing to my life and a great Joy! I love my three girls so much! Again, today, We got the comment. "Oh you must have your hands full" My new response is..."Yes we do but it sure is fun" The people I have tried it on seem confused. What is so confusing about that? Posted by Picasa

Okay Dan enough already! Posted by Picasa

Yeah....That's my husband! Posted by Picasa

Dan got ahold of the Camera the other day. And we all wonder why Sadie is so "special" She hangs around Daddy too much! Posted by Picasa

We put Oma's slide by the pool and the girls had a fun time sliding into the pool. Something you might be interested in knowing. On Suday when the girls when down for a nap, they asked us to set the pool up for them. Dan and I got it all set up so it would be warm when they woke up. We were sitting outside just hangning out and we decided to take a dip in the pool. Yeah so here we were. 2 grown adults sitting in the kids small swimming pool right in our front yard for all the world to see. Luckily only a handful of cars drove by. The cool water felt good in the 95 degree sun! Posted by Picasa

Abbie turned 4 months on August 6th. Here is a sweet picture of her with her Daddy! Posted by Picasa

Here is a picture of Sadie and Daddy while we were on a walk on Saturday Morning. Molly wasn't home so Sadie had her Daddy all to herself!  Posted by Picasa

Need I say anything? This is our Crazy Sads! Posted by Picasa

The Doctor...

We took the girls to the doctor yesterday for check ups. Sadie had her 18month check and Abbie had her 4 month check up. Molly didn't need to go for anything, but she did want to come and see her sisters get shots. She was very excited for that. Well, Sadie is 21 pounds. He says that's a little light for her, but she seems pretty healthy to me. She did okay with getting her shots. As long as Sadie has her lady and a purse she is pretty much content now a days. Abbie is getting so big. She weighs 13 pounds and is 25 inches long. She is in the 75th percentile for her height. And guess what else? Her head is small! She is truly taking after Dan in her height and skin color. Abbie had to get 4 shots. Ouch! Since we had a later evening appointment, there was only one nurse there, so that meant for different shots at four different times. Our girls are getting to be so big and yes, I am getting the itch for another one. I know many of you think I am crazy, but I truly believe that God put me here on His awesome Earth to have some of the cutest kids ever! I love being a mom and want to have many more kids. (If God continues to Bless Dan and I in that area). Molly reminds us daily now that she will be this many (as she holds up 3 fingers) and wants to have a spongey bob party. I think she finally understand the birthday party thing so I better start planning now. I can't believe our sweet baby will be three.

Waiting in Limbo....

This past week has been nothing but waiting for me in many ways. Mostly I have been waiting for my tooth or should I say lack of tooth to heal and feel better. It is much better than the aching I was having, but now I have a constant headache. You should have seen the roots on that tooth. Wow! No wonder my mouth is still sore! I am also waiting to hear from an organization that I would like to be involved with. More details in that area to come if God allows me the opportunity to share with others in that area. And, lastly Dan and I have been waiting for a few weeks now on an answer to whether we might be able to move. I think this one has been the hardest for me of all. Because of Dan's trade, we were offered an opportunity to perhaps upgrade to a larger house. We both really love the house and were super excited. After many weeks of waiting now, I have pretty much given up any hope. We are going through a rough transition here at our house that we keep putting off. Abbie is much too big now for her bassinet and we need to move her to a crib. That means, though, that we have to put Sadie and Molly in the same room. They already have trouble in their own rooms let alone now to have to be in the same room. I am sure there will be many battles fought with them and I guess that is why this other house was so exciting to me. However, being patient is not one of my strong points if you know me well. So....as I sit and wait for God to answer all my unknowns in my life, I will continue to pray for His will in my and Dan's life as a family.

Sadie wasn't quite sure about the Clown Lady, but she liked her balloon. The clown painted a lady bug on her arm. She kept looking at her arm to see if it was a real bug or not.  Posted by Picasa

Molly slept over at Oma's house on Friday night. We picked her up on Saturday and she didn't want to come home. "I'm ok, Mommy, you can go now." Is what she told me. We ended up going to the fish derby in Port. Molly got her face painted by a clown and got a balloon lady bug. She thought that was really cool! Posted by Picasa

What a sweet picture. Molly is becoming more and more aware of Abbie. She will sit and hold her for a long time. Right after I took this picture, Abbie spit up on Molly and that was quite the scene. Molly was screaming because Abbie got it all over her, and Abbie was smiling because she thought it was funny. Not quite sure what Sadie was doing at the time...but she loves to hold Abbie too! Posted by Picasa
